Obituary of Abraham Loewen

Loewen, Abraham of Tillsonburg passed away peacefully with his family by his side at London Health Science Centre- Victoria Hospital on Saturday, March 16, 2024 in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Anna(Wiebe) Loewen. Dear father of Abe(Annie) of Aylmer, Judy(Joe) of St. Thomas, Richard of Tillsonburg and Frank (Raena) of Paris. Loving grandfather of Rachel(Jim), Emily(Jonathan), David, Michael, Lucy, Liam, Serena and Addison. Great-grandfather of Ezra and Theo. Brother to Diedrich(Anna), Anna Knelson(Bill) and Henry Loewen(Margaret). Brother-in-law to Elizabeth Loewen. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Johann and Henry.  Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on March 5, 1949, son of the late Richard and Judy(Klassen) Loewen. Abe loved fishing on Lake Erie. His greatest joy was his family. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday from 5-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Mount Salem Sommerfeld Mennonite Church on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 11:00 am.
